Frequently Asked Questions
Open to anyone in need of food, our drive-ups provide each family with over 35 pounds of food, including milk, fresh fruits & vegetables, lean protein, and shelf-stable items.
We serve 20 different communities on a two-week rotating schedule. View the schedule here.
Our drive-up distributions are open to anyone in need of food. You do not need to bring identification or proof of eligibility to receive food. You simply need to provide your full name, address, number of people living in the household, and number of children in the household.
Sign up for a free Link2Feed card that stores your household information making pick-up quick and easy! Sign up online here or ask a Gleaners staff member for a card when you visit a Community Mobile.
Information stored on the card is confidential and used only within Gleaners partner network for food assistance services. Your information is not shared and will not affect any government benefits you already receive.
Yes, you can pick up food for another household without their presence in the car. However, you will need to provide information for each household. We allow up to 4 households per vehicle. Each household can receive up to 2 meal kits, depending on household size.
To respect our neighborhoods and our community partners, please arrive no earlier than one hour before distribution start times.
Safety is the top priority at all our mobile distribution locations. As of July 15, for the continued safety of guests and staff, Community Mobile Drive-Up Distributions are drive-up only.
Even though our Community Mobile Drive-Up Distributions are drive-up only, we are committed to providing service to everyone who needs it.

Unfortunately, Gleaners is not able to make home deliveries. We recommend calling 2-1-1 or visiting https://www.mi211.org to find services and programs in your area that may be of assistance.
We consistently evaluate the locations of our mobile distributions to ensure we’re serving as many households as we can, as quickly and efficiently as we can, while minimizing disruptions to the surrounding neighborhood. This may require us to relocate our mobiles from previous locations.
